Blossom Designs Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony On Friday

Blossom Designs will celebrate its holiday open house and shop expansion at 10 a.m. on Friday. Blossom Designs is at 5035 Hixson Pike, Suite 105. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the event.

Blossom Designs is a full service Florist, Gift Shop & Boutique featuring fresh flowers for every occasion, unique gifts, Trapp Candles, Permanent floral designs, Holiday tree decorating service, contemporary unique apparel, jewelry and& scarves.

Hours of operation are from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday. The store is closed on Sundays except during special events and holidays.

Woman Killed By Falling Tree At Neighborhood Near Hunter Road

A woman was killed by a falling tree outside her home in a neighborhood off Hunter Road late Monday morning. At about 11 a.m., Hamilton County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the 7300 block of Landlock Drive near Micasa Lane. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
