Youth Under 13 Must Have Valid TWRA ID Number To Check In Big Game Animals

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is issuing a reminder that youth hunters under the age of 13 must have a valid TWRA identification number in order to utilize the mobile application for checking in big game animals.

A youth can go to a TWRA regional office, a license agent, or check station with a parent and their Social Security card. A TWRA profile will be created which will last permanently. Once this is accomplished, the youth can then utilize the mobile harvest function.

First Young Sportsman Deer Hunt Is Oct. 29-30

Sport Fish Regulations To Be Set At October Commission Meeting

The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission will establish the 2017-18 sport fish regulations during its October meeting. The meeting will be held in Knoxville on Oct. 27-28 (Thursday-Friday) at the Holiday Inn World’s Fair Park.  Committee meetings start at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Domestic Assault Charge Dismissed Against Bobby Stone In Case Involving Mayor's Top Advisor; Stone Says Berke Had Inappropriate Relationship With His Wife; Says Berke And Fletcher Conspired To Arrest Him; Lacie Stone Says Charges Completely False

A charge of domestic assault was dismissed Friday morning against Bobby Stone in a case involving a top advisor to Mayor Andy Berke.  Afterward, Mr. Stone told reporters that the mayor had an inappropriate relationship with his wife, Lacie Stone. Christopher Padgett Taken Into Custody

A Chattanooga man who went on the lam after cutting off his ankle monitor and failing to show up for the third day of his felony murder trial is back in custody. Christopher Padgett was arrested by Chattanooga Police in the 3200 block of South Street at 12:55 a.m.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for booking. ...
