TSSAA State Soccer Games Moved To Friday

Notre Dame Will Play Top Ranked Knox Catholic In Class A/AA Semifinals

TSSAA has announced that all Division I soccer games scheduled for Thursday have been moved to Friday due to the impending weather forecasted for Murfreesboro. 

Rain has begun already Thursday morning in Murfreesboro and strong storms are predicted for Thursday afternoon.  

Notre Dame is the only local team still playing in the state soccer tournaments. They will play  top ranked Knox Catholic Friday at 2:30 CST.

Robert Gillisse Was Pilot Killed In Plane Crash At Collegedale Airport

The pilot who was killed in a plane crash on the runway of the Collegedale Airport on Friday evening has been identified as Robert Gillisse, 62, of Ooltewah . Charles Swain, who is the director of the airport, said the plane was a total loss. It was a single-occupant plane. He said the plane was taking off when it crashed. East Ridge To Build Open-Air Pavilion Near City Hall
