The Lee University Chamber Strings, an all-string student ensemble from Lee’s School of Music, will present its fall concert on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lee Chapel.
“The Lee University Chamber Strings continues to present entertaining music programs you love to hear,” said Xiaoqing Yu, director of the ensemble and associate professor of music at Lee. “This annual fall concert is no exception.”
The theme of the evening is dance music from around the world. The concert will include a variety of American, Spanish, Argentinian, Eastern European and Arabic dance music, along with a hint of Asian flavored music.
In an "on the spot" audience participation segment, the evening's concert will include guest performers to conduct a familiar tone.
The event is open to the public and free of charge. All are welcome to attend a reception immediately following the concert.
