Sue Ann Polk Hasty, 60, of Cohutta, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Polk; and grandparents, Hugh & Ruby Hill and John Chester & Beulah Polk.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leah & Matt Liesmann of Hutto, TX; son, Nathan Hasty of Rocky Face; mother, Wilma Polk of Lake Okeechobee, FL; sister & brother-in-law, Kay & Larry Heckman of Cohutta; brother & sister-in-law, Ricky & Sharon Polk of Tunnel Hill; and grandchildren, Madison Officer, Chandler Officer, Jordan White and Grace Self.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, at 11 a.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Valley Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Liesmann, Chris Hasty, Ricky Polk, Chandler Officer, Michael Masters and Larry Heckman.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, October 4.
