Connie Diane Flowers, 51, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
Connie was born in Chattanooga, TN on March 1st, 1962 a daughter of the late Earl and Mary Ellison. She was of the Church of God faith. Connie’s passion in life was taking care of her family that she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Swaggerty; one sister, Sue Millsaps; one brother, Earl Ellison Jr.; and one nephew Victor Hicks.
Connie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Charles Franklin Flowers; one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal & Jamie Davis; one son, Steven Swaggerty; mother-in-law and special friend, Mildred Flowers; two granddaughters, Emilee and LeAnn Davis; five sisters, Jessie Hicks (Mitchell), Sandra Heath (Stanley) of Trenton, GA, Audra Elrod (Ed), Tena Ellison (Tony) and Dottie Ann Whitt of St. Elmo, TN; four brothers, Earl Ellison Sr. (Dorothy) and Timothy Ellison both of Chattanooga, Jimmy Ellison of Greenville, SC and Robert Ellison of St. Elmo, TN; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Monday, October 7 at 11 a.m. at the Living Waters Pentecostal Church of God located at 289 Hannah Drive in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Bill Burke officiating. Interment will follow in the Earls Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, October 6 from 4-8 p.m.
