4 Hamilton County Sheriff's Officers Promoted

Four members of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were recognized for their recent promotion in rank. Sheriff Jim Hammond presented Sergeants Mark King and Ricky Jones with their lieutenant bars, and Detective David Sowders and Corporal Paul Maupin their sergeant chevrons.

Lieutenant King will be in charge of the Sheriff’s Patrol Delta team, Lieutenant Jones will be in charge of the Sheriff’s Patrol Bravo team, Sergeant Paul Maupin will be assigned to the School Resource Division of the Sheriff’s Office. Sergeant Sowders, upon his replacement, will be assigned to Bravo team east.
