Woman Charged With Robbing Sister At Knifepoint

A  woman has been charged with robbing her sister at knifepoint in East Ridge.

Alexis Trantham, 27, of 1128 Old Pineville Road, is charged with aggravated robbery.

In the incident Thursday, Catherine Trantham and Anglella Mosteller said Alexis Trantham entered the residence at 323 Cedar Glen Circle. They said she tried to steal a black leather purse containing $70 and a bank card belonging to Catherine Trantham.

Ms. Mosteller said when she confronted Alexis Trantham she pulled a 10-inch kitchen knife, then she ran from the residence with the purse. She got into a maroon vehicle with a black male driver.

East Ridge Police found Alexis Trantham at the Royal Arts Apartments on McBrien Road.
