CCS Wins 6-1 Over Science Hill

Hannah Henry had two goals and one assist Monday night in the Lady Chargers 6-1 win over visiting Science Hill.  

CCS led 3-0 at the half.

Allie Vannoy had one goal and two assists.

Sara Farlett, Beata Brock and Faith Duble also had goals.  Farlett and Shelby Balch had assists.

Kendra Jolly had one save for CCS in the goal.

CCS is now 6-6-4 on the season and will host Silverdale on Thursday for their final game of the regular season.

Covenant Women Announce 2016-17 Basketball Schedule

The Covenant women's basketball team, under fourth-year head coach Sarah Harris, has announced its schedule for the 2016-17 season. Two nearby Red Bank retail centers have sold for a combined $9.4 million. Red Bank Mayor John Roberts called it "the largest transactions in the history of Red Bank." Jury Awards 25 City Police Personnel Total Of $562,000 On Claims That Pay Plan Was Not Followed

A Chancery Court jury on Wednesday gave a verdict totaling $562,000 for 25 city police personnel who filed suit almost five years ago alleging that the city never lived up to terms of a 2010 pay plan.
