Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga invites the Chattanooga and surrounding area community to participate in their 4th annual Bowl-A-Rama fundraiser. Taking place on three separate days, Bowl-A-Rama is set for Nov. 6 and 7, from 6-9 p.m. as well as Nov. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at Pin Strikes Bowling Alley. All three dates allow for friends and family teams and competitive league bowling.
The Bowl-A-Rama event, sponsored in part by Ameriprise Financial (Scotchie & Associates), Thompson Engineering, Blue Cross Blue Shield of TN, and TVA among others, will benefit families of seriously ill and injured children receiving care at nearby Chattanooga hospitals. The cost of participation is $25 per bowler per event, which includes shoe rental and three games of bowling. Participants are encouraged to register in teams of four to five bowlers or as individuals to be placed with a team. Registration is available online at no cost via www.rmhchattanooga.com.
In 2012, RMHC’s annual Bowl-a-Rama had participation from a combined number of more than 60 teams on all three days and raised close to $10,000 in support of the families at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga.
The Bowl-A-Rama event began in 2008 as a third-party fundraiser, but has since evolved into one of the nine annual events directly coordinated by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chattanooga.
