The Eli Young Band, with the Cadillac Three, will play at Track 29 on Friday, Oct. 25, at 9 p.m. The show is for ages 18 and older.
Review for the Eli Young Band:
The band just got off tour with Kenny Chesney, have recently been showcased on FOX & Friends for their All American Summer Concert Series, just released a new single which is climbing the charts and were nominated for the 2013 CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year.
The Eli Young Band has been creating a niche for itself in the Texas country music scene for quite awhile. However, they are taking the rest of the nation by storm. Their Life At Best album has proven to be wildly successful, garnering both fan and industry recognition as well as a wave of critical acclaim. It debuted at #3 on the Billboard Country Chart, #1 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart and #2 on the iTunes All Genre Chart. The band has scored back-to-back #1's with "Crazy Girl" and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." EYB is now celebrating RIAA Double Platinum certification of "Crazy Girl" for selling over two million copies. It also won them the ACM Award for Song of the Year and was named the Billboard #1 Country Song of the Year.
EYB is now starting the next chapter of their musical journey. They just released the new smash single "Drunk Last Night." The single hit 54,000 downloads on iTunes before it even made its way to radio. It was the #1 most added song to stations nationwide. It went viral on Spotify landing at #9 before release date - making them the only country group to make it into the top 10 for the week. And as if that is not enough to indicate their success, they were the #1 county artist on Twitter.
In addition to all of their musical accomplishments, they have performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the ACA Awards. EYB has also been featured in publications such as People, Billboard, The New York Times, USA Today, The New Yorker and Country Weekly. The foursome's talent coupled with charisma and dedication has led them to opportunities that include touring with the likes of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Dierks Bentley and Rascal Flatts. They also just finished up a spectacular tour with one of country music's greatest performers, Kenny Chesney. The band will be headlining their own show on the road this fall for the Drunk Last Night Tour.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $28 the day of the show.
