CSO Veterans Concert Was Wonderful

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

I would like to offer my appreciation to the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra and Chorus for their excellent performance Monday night, Nov. 11.  The concert was in appreciation for the service given by veterans and those on active duty.

Conductor Kayoko Dan led the group in a number of patriotic numbers.  As the theme song for each branch of the military was played, she invited those members to stand to the applause of the audience.

As a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, I was proud to be there.  For me, the music was emotional.  Difficult as it is to bring tears to this man's eyes...Ms. Dan accomplished this.

I also want to thank the orchestra for volunteering their time to rehearse and then perform.  What a great night.  Thank you.

Why The 2-Sided Sidewalk On Wide And Busy Highway 58?

We will have the finest walking/biking sidewalk that crosses at least a dozen businesses with heavy traffic and at best you have to cross six lanes of traffic to get to the other side to catch the sidewalk ...
