Dallas Bay Baptist Women's Ministry Presents Annual Holiday Program

The Women’s Ministry at Dallas Bay Baptist Church, 8405 Daisy Dallas Road, will present its annual Preparing Heart and Home for the Holidays on Friday, Nov. 22. 

Each year, the creative ladies decorate tables and prepare their hearts for the holidays. This year will prove to be no different than previous years. 

Tickets, $25, are on sale in the LEC on Sunday mornings leading up to the event. The last day to purchase tickets will be Sunday. 

The special guest speaker will be Leighann McCoy.

Lawsuit Says Girl Received Severe Traumatic Brain Injury In Woodmore Bus Wreck

A new lawsuit in the tragic Woodmore Elementary School bus wreck said one girl on the bus suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. Officer Who Was Shot Returned Fire; Is Recovering Well; Shooter Still On Loose

Chattanooga Police Chief Fred Fletcher said Monday morning that the officer who was shot three times on Thursday is recovering well.   Chief Fletcher said the officer was wearing a bullet-proof vest and one bullet hit the vest, which protected him during the shooting.  The officer was able to return fire, although Chief Fletcher would not comment on how many bullets ...
