Art + Issues On Designing Risk At Hunter Museum Thursday

The last Art + Issues for 2013 will feature designers DJ Trischler, partner and art director of D + J Brand Consulting and collaborator of Chatype, and Megan Deal, founding partner and creative director of Tomorrow Today.  They will explore risk in design as inspired by the work of Thornton Dial.

The program is free to all in the community. This is presented in partnership with the AIGA.


Scenic City Lawn Mower Racing Association To Host 5th Annual “Get The Mowdown: Lawnmower Race For Autism”

On Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m., racers at Savannah Valley Speedway, 10516 Hwy 58, Ooltewah at Goodner’s Equipment, will mount their specially modified mowers and race each other at speeds up to 60 MPH. Zachary Bryant Was 6-Year-Old Killed Monday At Chattanooga Valley Elementary

Zachary Bryant has been identified as the 6-year-old boy who was killed after being run over by a school bus on Monday at Chattanooga Valley Elementary School.
