UTC To Host American Society Of Civil Engineers Southeast Student Conference In 2015

The UTC College of Engineering and Computer Science will be hosting the 2015 American Society of Civil Engineers Southeast Student Conference March 19-21, 2015.

The conference will include various competitions including the Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge competitions.

Gittens And Yang Take First Place In Lee’s Piano Competition

Benjamin Gittens and Hsin-Hao Yang took first place in the 11th annual Lee University piano competitions for the collegiate and pre-collegiate divisions, respectively. The award ceremony concluded the International Piano Festival and Competition held June 14-20. An Athens,Tn., physician, his wife and college-age daughter died Sunday evening in the crash of a small plane that struck a house 30 miles southwest of Boston on Sunday evening.
