Man Who Firebombed Jewish Synagogue In Chattanooga Put To Death

The man who firebombed a Jewish synagogue in Chattanooga was put to death in Missouri early Wednesday morning.

Joseph Paul Franklin was executed shortly after midnight after a final string of court stays ran out.

He confessed to the Beth Sholom bombing, which happened July 29, 1977.

Franklin was linked to 20 murders, six aggravated assaults, 16 bank robberies and two bombings during his heinous career.  


Michael Basham Sought In Bradley County Burglaries

Michael Basham is being sought in Bradley County for several burglaries.  On Feb. 23, several residents in the area of Keith Valley Road in south Bradley County reported their vehicles were burglarized with items stolen.
