Erlanger’s Academic Urologists Hosts Straight Talk About Men’s Health Dec. 3

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

Since Erlanger received a tremendous amount of interest for the Academic Urologists’ free information session on male urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction, officials have scheduled another session to take place on Tuesday, Dec. 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Erlanger at Volkswagen Drive Wellness Center.

As many as 30 million men in the United States experience incontinence and/or erectile dysfunction.  Many cases go undiagnosed or are not even discussed with physicians due to men being uncomfortable discussing their health concerns.  Straight Talk about Men’s Health will allow men to hear about these common medical conditions and learn what advancements are available for treatments such as minimally-invasive solutions to regain intimacy and restore control.

Dr. Anand Shridharani is the newest member of Academic Urologists.  His clinical interests include erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, penile prostheses, and ejaculatory disorders. Dr. Shridharani is an expert in the medical and surgical treatment of these conditions and offers patients innovative, minimally-invasive solutions to the condition of erectile dysfunction, officials said. He is a member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, the International Society for Sexual Medicine, American Society of Andrology, and the American Urologic Association.

The seminar is free and pre-registration is encouraged. To reserve a seat, please call 778-LINK (5465), seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to midnight.
