One person is in critical condition after a one-vehicle crash on Wednesday.
Chattanooga Police responded to the crash at 1060 Highway 27. It was found that the vehicle was traveling north on Highway 27.
When the vehicle left the roadway, it struck the guardrail and caused the vehicle to roll, which in turn caused the driver to be ejected.
The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition at a local hospital.
In a second incident that happened Thursday morning, one man was killed.
At approximately 6:45 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash at 1135 Lower Mill Road. Traffic Investigators found that a pickup truck lost control and left the roadway.
The truck, driven by Brandon Wilkins, struck a tree and then came to rest down an embankment. It was discovered some time later.
Mr. Wilkins, who was 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.
