Start Advent with an oasis of lovely sound with a concert by the Chattanooga Girls’ Choir this Sunday, December 1, at 5:00 p.m. in the Nave at Graced Episcopal Church, 20 Belvoir Ave.; the concert is free of charge and there is childcare available (see article below). Organizers said, "Good music will fortify you against the next four weeks of Mommy kissing Santa Claus and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree with Rudolph and his notable proboscis."

If your child is too young or restless for the Girls’ Choir concert at 5 p.

m., drop them off with Maria downstairs. After you’ve reveled in the young voices of the choir, bring the whole family to the Undercroft for a luxurious dinner served by the clergy. Stories, laughter, and a visit from St. Nicholas (the Saint, not the Santa) will follow the meal.
