Pet Photos Offered After MAINX24 Parade Dec. 7

During MAINX24, pets and their owners can visit the Chattapet Painter on Mitchell Avenue after the parade for a free photo on the porch again this year.  Pets may come in or out of costume. 

The event will be Saturday, Dec. 7, 12-4:30 p.m. at 1611 Mitchell Ave. on the Southside.

Multiple Callers Said Man Who Tried To Rape Woman At MLK Neighborhood Was "Tom"

After police on Wednesday released clear photos of a man who tried to tried to rape a woman in the MLK Neighborhood, multiple callers said it was "Tom" who works at Amazon. The victim then picked Thomas Lee Carr out of a photo lineup as her assailant. He is charged with attempted rape. Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire around  5:40 a.m.  on Thursday at 2707 N. Chamberlain Ave. Captain David Brooks with Engine 4 said smoke and flames were visible when they arrived on the scene.
