The Dalton women’s volleyball team wrapped up their inaugural season Tuesday night with a convincing straight set victory at Tennessee Temple.

The Lady Roadrunners easily won the first set 25-11. The hosts came a little closer in the middle set, 25-17. Dalton State put the match away in the third set, 25-12.

“What a great way to end the season,” said Dalton State coach Bruna Langner. “We played very well and steady tonight with no ups and downs.”

“It’s a great momentum builder to go into a conference schedule beginning next season,” she added.  The Roadrunners finished with a 10-14 record.
