Pastors Speak At Veterans Park in Soddy-Daisy Saturday, Nov. 16

Join other Christians on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Veterans Park in Soddy-Daisy to support the right of believers to speak out in the public forum without being censored by special interest groups. The Rev. Ken Duggan, senior pastor of Dallas Bay Baptist Church, Daisy-Dallas Road, will be speaking along other with local pastors beginning at 11 a.m. 

Organizers said, "Join us so that the prevailing culture around us can see that we can stand united for a cause that is right."

Attorney Davis Says Other Driver In Styles Case Pulled Gun While Driving Wildly; Denies Radio Host "Blacked Out"

Attorney Lee Davis said the other driver in a Friday road rage incident in Hixson pulled a gun on radio personality Jeff Styles while driving wildly.  He denied that the talk show host blacked out.  Jeff Styles, who was shot in the forearm, was charged with aggravated assault and vandalism. Floyd Charged With Fighting Police Officer On Station Street In Incident Caught On Video

Police have charged 21-year-old William Alexander Floyd after a fight with an officer on Station Street that was caught on video and quickly shared on social media. Floyd, of Ringgold, Ga., was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, vandalism, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
