All-Church In-Gathering Celebration Sunday At Church Of The Good Shepherd, Lookout

An In-Gathering and All-Church Celebration lunch at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 211 Franklin Road, Lookout Mountain, will be Sunday. The event will be a celebration of life together as a parish and the in-gathering of pledge cards for 2014 at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services. At all of the services they will spend a few quiet moments filling out pledge cards and then present them at the altar to be blessed for God's work through the church.  There will be an all-church celebration lunch in Talbird Hall following the 10:30 service.

There is no charge for the lunch.

At the 9:15 a.m. Adult Christian Formation in the library, the program will be answers to all the questions ever asked about stewardship in the church and more. The Rev. Robert Childers will preach at both services.

Signal Council, Residents Concerned About Unsafe Driving En Route To Schools

The town council of Signal Mountain is dealing with a traffic problem caused by increased traffic to and from Signal Mountain Middle High School and Nolan Elementary.
