Riverbend Is June 6-14, 2014

The best deal of the holiday shopping season is this Saturday, December 14, when Riverbend has their One-Day-Only Sale at Hamilton Place Mall from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. If you can’t make it to the sale, it’s ok to send a friend to buy them for you.

Individuals have a chance to purchase the 2014 Riverbend Wristbands at the corporate rate on December 14, at Hamilton Place Mall from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. by the food court near Barnes & Nobles. This annual event allows individuals a chance to purchase a wristband good for the entire 8 days of Riverbend for just $28. The Corporate rate requires a purchase of 100 wristbands, but Riverbend offers this to the general public with no minimum order on this day only. Credit card purchases will be $29 each. For 8 days, that is less than $4 per day for access to one of the nation’s oldest and largest music festivals. These make great holiday gifts. Small companies that cannot buy 100 wristbands can also buy a few for their employees, as well.

Wristbands, other than at the one-day special rate mentioned above, go on sale May 1, 2014 at area Kangaroo Stores for $35. The price for a wristband purchase at the gate during Riverbend will be $50, so the $28 purchase represents a big savings, as does the Kangaroo price available beginning May 1st.

So far, the only Coke Stage Act announced has been Country star Gary Allan. Seven more Coke Stage acts will be announced over the coming months. According to Pollstar, Gary Allan’s ticket price averages $45.12. A Riverbend wristband will get you the Gary Allan show, as well as about 90 other acts for as little as $28.

Friends Of The Festival announced this year that they would switch admission from the Riverbend Pin to the barcoded wristband. The wristband is removable and must be scanned upon entry and exit to/from the festival grounds. A souvenir Pin will be available for sale to collectors, but it cannot be used for admission.
