Burks UMC Hosts Longest Night Service Dec. 21

Burks United Methodist Church, 6433 Hixson Pike, will offer The Service of the Longest Night on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary, hosted by the Prayer Team. You will be invited to experience this service with special music, scripture, lighting of candles in remembrance of loved ones, silent reflection, and healing prayer.

Motorcyclist Dies After Crossing Center Line On Bonny Oaks Drive

A motorcyclist died after crossing the center line on Bonny Oaks Drive on Friday night. Chattanooga Police responded at 6:43 p.m. to a traffic crash at 7100 Bonny Oaks Dr.   A Jeep Renegade driven by 33-year-old Christina L. Reworked Miller Park, Connections To Cost Up To $8.4 Million

A reworked Miller Park with improved connections to Patten Parkway and MLK Boulevard will cost $7.6 million. With contingencies, the price tag is tabbed at $8.4 million.
