County Superintendent Rick Smith Announces New Principal Barbara Shepherd At DuPont Elementary

Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Rick Smith announced the appointment of Ms. Barbara Shepherd as principal at DuPont Elementary School.  

Ms. Shepherd began her career in 1985 as a kindergarten teacher at Calvin Donaldson Elementary.  She is currently the assistant rincipal at Brown Academy.  

Ms.Shepherd will begin her new assignment on Jan. 6, replacing Ms. Janice Scott, who is retiring.
