Leighton LeBoeuf is retiring after a long career at WMBW Christian radio.

He was born in Mississippi, but grew up in Georgia and Florida. He earned an undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, and received a graduate degree from Springfield College in Massachusetts. 

He joined Moody Radio in November, 1997. Prior to Moody Radio, Mr. LeBoeuf worked in the hospital/business world. He served as governor of the Tennessee District of Optimist International for one year, and was chairman of the Health, Education and Housing Facilities Board, charged with the responsibility of issuing tax-exempt bonds to health care facilities and education units.

Mr. Leighton and his wife, Jan, have three children and several grandchildren. He has been a runner all of his adult life, and he loves jazz music and reading history and fiction bibliographies.
