Chattanooga FC Holding Women's Team Tryouts

Chattanooga Football Club has announced open tryouts for a provisional women's senior squad (18 years and up).  The Chattanooga FC men's team has had great success in the past 5 years. 

Potential players must be 18 years of age by 01/01/2014 in order to participate in the tryout.

Registration will be from 9:30-10:00 AM.  

Registration fee is $20. 


Pre-register by Dec 31 by emailing your completed Registration Information Form and completed Medical Release Form to pwinecoff@gmail.com             

After Dec 31 you will need to download, print and bring with you the Registration Information Form and the Medical Release Form (set margins to 0.4” top & bottom and 0.7” right & left for proper printing). Please print CLEARLY on forms.

Tryouts will begin at 10:00 AM and will end by 3:30 PM. You will have a break for lunch (not provided) from 12:00-2:00 PM. 

Bring shin guards and cleats/turfs. 

Be fit, be ready.

Cleveland Speedway Has Several Events Saturday Night

Owls' Putman Voted 5A Preseason All-State

Ooltewah's Nic Putman has been voted to the Star Physical Therapy Class 5A Preseason All-State high school football team in Murphy Fair's Tennessee High School Football magazine. PUTMAN, A 6-2, 255-pound senior defensive lineman, was the only Chattanooga-area player voted to the team. Ruling States That City Of Cleveland Is Entitled To Liquor By The Drink Funds

The city of Cleveland is entitled to keep all funds collected since city voters approved “liquor by the drink” in the Nov. 5, 2002 election. Bradley County Schools sued the city for taxes owed based on the school board’s interpretation of state law. Cleveland City Schools will be allowed to keep its money. Crash On Chattanooga Avenue Causes Power Outage

A single-car accident in Dalton damaged a power pole on Chattanooga Avenue in front of the Crown Mill Village apartments and has caused a power outage in the area.   Chattanooga Avenue was closed between Matilda Street and Judson Street while the Dalton Police Department investigated the crash and Dalton Utilities worked to replace the pole.
