Shirley Wright Cordell, 75, of LaFayette, GA, died Thursday, December 19, 2013.
She was a life-long resident of LaFayette and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Alice Chamber Wright; and brother, Harold Wright.
She is survived by her sons, Brad (Stacy) Cordell of Ringgold and Chris (Ann) Cordell of Nova Scotia, Canada; four grandchildren, Zachery, Daniel, Christen and Trenton; and one great-grandchild, Brayden; brothers, James W. Wright and Eddie B. (Gail) Wright, both of Rock Spring; and sister, Margaret Boss of LaFayette.
The funeral will be held Saturday, December 21, at 11 a.m. at the Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. R.D. Wallin officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church Saturday, December 21 from 9:30 A.M. until service time.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Corinth Baptist Church.
