Larry Russell Smith, 63, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, December 1, 2013.
He was a retired engineer at TVA. He was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene and an avid woodworker.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rayburn and Emma Mockabee Smith and nephew, Justin J. Jeffery.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jeffery Smith; brother, Robert W. Smith; mother-in-law, Virginia Jeffery; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Candice Jeffery; nephew Stephen J. Jeffery and wife, Mary; grand niece, Hannah A. Jeffery and several cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 4-7 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Calvary Church of the Nazarene. The Reverend Mike Campbell will conduct the service at 1 p.m. in the church.
Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
