Police Seek Information In Shooting On Sunday

One person was injured on Sunday in a shooting, at approximately 8:29 p.m. Chattanooga Police were notified of a shooting that reportedly happened in the area of 100 W. 25th Street.  

The victim, Sikhou Sy, walked into the emergency room of a local hospital and stated to police that he had been shot by an unknown suspect while walking in the area of 100 W. 25th Street. Mr. Sy was treated for a non-life threatening injury.  

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
