Monday, December 2, 2013

Two people were injured in a stabbing on Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 4:40 p.m. Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at 6412 Edgmon Drive.  Upon arrival, officers located a crowd of people in front of the address and discovered two male juveniles who were suffering from stab wounds to the chest and left leg.

Several parties reportedly responded to the address to collect a debt from another and a physical altercation ensued. During the altercation, a female reportedly produced a knife in self-defense and wounded the two victims.

The victims were transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The parties involved refused to cooperate with the investigation and prosecution was declined by all.
