Storm Brought Heavy Rain; Some Minor Flooding Possible; Christmas To Be Sunny

A Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday for a wide area, including Hamilton County and nearby counties expired Sunday morning.

The storm system brought heavy rain to Chattanooga.

There was a flood watch in effect for several area counties.

Lookout Creek was at 11 feet and rising at 10 a.m. Sunday. Flood stage is 12 feet. 

Sunny weather returns on Tuesday and on Christmas Day.

A low of 23 is expected Tuesday night.

The high on Wednesday is to be around 47 degrees.
