The Chattanooga Ballet performed The Nutcracker at Morning Pointe.The professional ballerinas performed excerpts from the special holiday program for the residents of Morning Pointe of Chattanooga. 

"They were like little children," said Jennifer Jolly, The Lantern Alzheimer's program director. "Their eyes lit up. It was just wonderful. It was like Christmas morning seeing their eyes lit up brought tears to my eyes." Ms. Jolly was instrumental in getting the ballerinas to come to the assisted living community.

Sewell Says City, EPB "Close" On Amount Owed By Utility To City On Street Light Overbilling

City Internal Auditor Stan Sewell told City Council members on Tuesday that EPB and the city are "close" on the amount owed by the utility to the city on street light overbilling. The City Council voted Tuesday night 5-4 to set up a new process for naming members to the Industrial Development Board (IDB), which currently has four vacancies.
