Rigneys And Lon Eldridge Play At WoodSongs Coffeehouse Jan. 25

The WoodSongs Coffeehouse Dalton Chapter announces the return of their annual winter concert series to benefit Providence Ministries. The first concert will feature the award winning family band the Rigneys and solo artist Lon Eldridge on Saturday, Jan. 25.

This regionally acclaimed concert series features emerging and established performers and will be held in the intimate and eclectic setting of the historic Dalton Freight Depot located at 305 S. Depot Street in down town Dalton.  The concert series is sponsored in part by the Downtown Dalton Development Authority and the Dalton Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Storm Brings Heavy Rain, Wind Through Area

Severe storms brought heavy rain and wind north of Chattanooga on Wednesday evening. EPB crews were dealing with power outages in Brainerd, Soddy Daisy, Shallowford-Tyner and East Chattanooga. Man Robbed, Stabbed At Hixson Pike Bus Stop

A man was robbed and stabbed at a bus stop on Hixson Pike on Tuesday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were called concerning a robbery at 3800 Hixson Pike.
