East Ridge Offices Closed In Observance Of New Year’s Holiday

East Ridge city offices and services will be closed on Wednesday in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday. For those with Wednesday trash pickup, the following schedule will be implemented: 

North-side (from Ringgold Road to Chattanooga/Interstate 24)—Tuesday

South-side (From Ringgold Road to Stateline Road/Georgia)—Thursday

Make sure to have the trash cans out to the road the night before to ensure pickup. Also, there will be no brush, bulk, or leaf pickup New Year’s holiday week. The recycling schedule will resume the normal every-other-week collection schedule, starting with the North-side. All other services will resume normal schedules starting the week of Jan. 6.

Chattanooga Technology Council Presents ChaTECH Code Camp For Kids At Brainerd Recreation Center

Brooker Road In Whitfield County To Be Closed Aug. 3-Sept. 28

County Taking First Step Toward Replacing County Jail Downtown With Workhouse Addition At Silverdale

County officials are taking the first step toward replacing the long-criticized county jail downtown with an addition at the workhouse at Silverdale.
