Guns And Hoses Battle Of The Badges Is Friday

This year's Guns and Hoses Battle of the Badges will take place at UTC's McKenzie Arena on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Chattanooga police and firefighters will battle it out for charity and bragging rights in the year's biggest boxing war. 

The event is a benefit the Forgotten Child Fund.

General admission tickets are $20, ringside reserved seats are $25, corporate tables are $300 and $500.  Corporate sponsored tables are available for $2,500 for two tables.  Tickets are available at

Road Closures Announced For Repairs

The 1100 O’Grady Drive at Zena Drive will be closed beginning  Tuesday at 9 a.m. , for a storm drain replacement. This will be a full closure, scheduled to reopen over the weekend, but will be closed again  on Monday  and  Tuesday . Body Found On South Highland Park Avenue

The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating the death of a white woman, found at 2106 S.   Highland Park Ave.  The person’s identity and cause of death are unknown at this time.
