Mitch McClure To Speak On "I Cannot Believe I Am Pregnant!" On Sunday

Middle Valley Church of God, at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announced that Pastor Mitch McClure will speak on the topic, "I Cannot Believe I Am Pregnant!" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday. The sermon continues his latest sermon series on God Keeps His Promises. The message will focus on the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and how God kept His promise that this would happen. Pastor McClure will lead the congregation in a time of prayer and Bible reading in the 6:30 a.
m. service on Sunday.  This will be a continuation of the participation by the congregation in the READ Initiative of the Church of God. 
 
Each Wednesday at 7 p.m. classes are made available for all age groupings.  At the present time, Pastor McClure is leading a Bible study based on "You'll Get Through This" by Max Lucado in the administrative classroom.  The community is invited to participate in all services of Middle Valley Church of God.  

Hurst Celebrates 132nd Church Anniversary

Man Robbed, Stabbed At Hixson Pike Bus Stop

A man was robbed and stabbed at a bus stop on Hixson Pike on Tuesday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers were called concerning a robbery at 3800 Hixson Pike.
