Membership Exploration Meeting Is Sunday At Pilgrim Congregational

Adult Education opportunities Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 400 Glenwood Drive, during December in the pastor's office will be on "The Path to Bethlehem."  Dr. David Brown will speak at the 11 a.m. service on "The Gift of Peace," with text from Matthew 3:1-12 and 11:2-6. 

A membership exploration meeting for those interested in learning about membership in the church will follow the morning worship service in the pastor's office.

Bible study on "The Challenge of the Prophet Jeremiah" will be taught by Pastor Brown at either of two classes, Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 at the home of Kendra Bell and Lisa Taylor, 400 Olivia Lane, Soddy Daisy or Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at the church.

St. Timothy's Holds Blessing Of The Animals Service

St. Timothy's will hold a blessing of the animals service on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. Please share your blessings by bringing an unopened bag or cans of pet food to be donated to the local shelter. (click for more)

Erlanger Finishes Fiscal Year With $18 Million Profit

Chancellor Rules That IDB Must Reimburse Attorney Fees, Other Legal Costs For Helen Burns Sharp On TIF Lawsuit

Chancellor Pam Fleenor has ruled that Helen Burns Sharp, who sued over the validity of a $9 million Tax Increment Financing (TIF) for a planned major development on Aetna Mountain, should be reimbursed her discretionary costs as well as her attorney fees.
