Membership Exploration Meeting Is Sunday At Pilgrim Congregational

Adult Education opportunities Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 400 Glenwood Drive, during December in the pastor's office will be on "The Path to Bethlehem."  Dr. David Brown will speak at the 11 a.m. service on "The Gift of Peace," with text from Matthew 3:1-12 and 11:2-6. 

A membership exploration meeting for those interested in learning about membership in the church will follow the morning worship service in the pastor's office.

Bible study on "The Challenge of the Prophet Jeremiah" will be taught by Pastor Brown at either of two classes, Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 at the home of Kendra Bell and Lisa Taylor, 400 Olivia Lane, Soddy Daisy or Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at the church.


"The Journey" Is Message At Metro Tab Church On Sunday

The public is invited to worship on  Sunday  at  10:30 a.m .   The message preached by Pastor Steve Ball will be "The Journey".   Officials invite kids in the Chattanooga area to join them for Vacation Bible School. Pianist Roy Treiyer To Perform At Brainerd Presbyterian This Sunday

Woman, 20, Killed While Trying To Cross Highway 153 Early Sunday Morning

A woman, 20, was killed early Sunday morning while trying to cross Highway 153. The victim was identified as Ansleigh Kaylyn Harrison. At approximately 1:28 a.m. , Chattanooga Police officers responded to a pedestrian struck at 5256 Highway 153. 2 Shot In Separate Incidents Early Saturday Morning; 1 Victim Is A Juvenile Girl

Two people were shot early Saturday morning in separate incidents.
