East Ridge Parks And Recreation To Announce 2014 Schedule

The City of East Ridge Parks and Recreation Department will have a breakfast on Dec. 10, at 9 a.m. at the East Ridge Community Center, 1513 Tombras Avenue, East Ridge.

The Parks and Recreation director will announce the 2014 schedule for Camp Jordan and discuss how the organization can be of assistance to the businesses in East Ridge.

6,533 Apply For Chattanooga Housing Authority Voucher Program

The Chattanooga Housing Authority closed its Housing Choice Voucher Program application process Monday at 11:59 p.m. There were 6,533 applicants. CHA will randomly select 1,000 of those names on Monday, for the voucher program waiting list. Times Free Press Pays Bonuses, Has Layoffs

The Chattanooga Times Free Press told employees on Monday that the newspaper had improved financial performance over the prior year quarters and employees were receiving two percent bonuses.
