Christmas Music Offered On Sunday At Brainerd United Methodist

The Chancel Choir and Orchestra at Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road, will present a cantata for Christmas, "Nativity Suites," at the 11 a.m. sanctuary worship service on Sunday. 

At 6 p.m. the Scenic City Chorale will present "A Musicological Journey Through The Christmas Season."

Ganns/Falling Water School Way Over Budget

The final figure for the new Ganns/Falling Water School is way over budget, county officials said Wednesday. However, the County Commission voted to proceed on the $29,414,000 project. Erlanger Board Finance Chairman Donnie Hutcherson said the board plans to be more transparent. He said Erlanger's legal staff will review topics that might be covered in a closed meeting.
