Police have charged 18-year-old Brian Posley in connection with a home invasion.

In the incident last Tuesday at 905 Sylvan Dr., two residents told of the frightening incident.

Dominic Cottens said he was unlocking the front door when an unknown black male dressed in a brown jumpsuit jumped him from behind. The man pushed him into the residence while demanding money.

He said another man appeared and both had semi-automatic pistols pointed at him. He said they took $100 cash.

He said he tried to fight back, causing the magazine to fall out of one of the pistols and several rounds to fall to the floor.

The pair took the keys to a 2003 Ford Taurus belonging to Rikita Halfacre, who was also at home at the time of the invasion.

A short time later, patrol officers spotted the Taurus and gave chase. The pursuit ended at 1112 Grove St. where 2-3 black males jumped out. Posley was taken into custody. Police said he discarded a brown jumpsuit into some bushes.
