James Anthony Weller is facing charges in connection with a burglary in which several guitars and other items were taken from the residence of Jay Wilkinson.

The victim said also taken were guitar amps, pedals, a gaming system and jewelry. Entry was made through the rear kitchen door after a glass was broken.

Mr. Wilkinson called the Guitar Center and was told that three white males had attempted to sell them the musical instruments and accessories. They were in a white, older-model pickup truck.

Store officials said one of the men identified himself as James Anthony Weller. Police said he owns a 1991 white Chevy S-10.

Police said it was later found that Weller had sold the items to EZ Pawn on Rossville Boulevard.

Weller, 44, of Ardis Lane, is charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism.
