Mocs Host Hiwassee After Short Layoff

The UTC basketball team has not played since their 87-56 loss to Georgia last Monday.   The Mocs will be back in action Tuesday night at home against Hiwassee.

They will travel to Northern Kentucky and UAB before hosting the Dr. Pepper Classic starting on Dec. 29.

Hiwassee is 1-8 on the year and is coached by Hugh Watson. Their only win came against Bryan College.

Z. Mason leads the Mocs in scoring with 16. 1 points per game.  He also leads the team in blocks with 17 and rebounds averagine 7 per game. 

Greg Pryor leads the team with 29 assists. 

The Mocs are 3-6 overall and have not played a conference game. 

They open conference play on January 4 at Furman.
