a) A resolution authorizing the Administrator of the Department of Public Works to enter into a contract for professional services with MWH Americas, Inc. for the formation of the Moccasin Bend Clean Water Authority, for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00.  (Deferred from 1/29/2013.)

b) A resolution authorizing payment of a title search fee in the amount approved by Chancery Court per title search completed by title search personnel and such fee shall be added as a court cost to each delinquent tax parcel in accordance with the attached order by the Chancery Court of Hamilton County, Tennessee and any subsequent amendments to that Order.

Charges Dismissed In Big K Market Murder

Charges have been dismissed against a man charged in the shooting death of 53-year-old Herbert Strickland at the Big K Market at 909 Dodson Ave. Antonio Dejong Espey, 18, had been indicted a few months after the shooting, and he has been in jail awaiting trial. But prosecutors said a key witness was later shot and killed herself and a video did not contain conclusive evidence. ... (click for more)

Suspect Sought In Shooting On Nautical Way

A suspect is being sought in a shooting that happened Friday afternoon. At 3:20 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 7700 block of Nautical Way.  It was reported that the victim, Cantrell Goodloe, 33, was involved in an altercation,when shots were fired and he was struck.
