Larry Grohn Can Make A Positive Difference - And Response

Monday, February 11, 2013

For all of my friends and family in the Chattanooga area, I would like to tell you about one of my dearest friends, Larry Grohn, who is a candidate for City Council, District 4.  Larry and I have known each other for 47 years, and during those 47 years he has remained as he was when we first met—open, honest, hard-working and with a true sense of responsibility and affection for his fellow man.

Larry has worked hard all of his life, caring for his family and community.

Larry has always adored children, his own and others, and in addition to his teaching career in public schools, sponsored chess clubs to expand the horizons of the youth with whom he came in contact.

He is a man with strong conservative political convictions, who places God, country, community, and family above himself.  His openness makes him accessible to anyone with an issue to address.

For good or ill, Larry has never been an ambitious or politically driven individual, and his candidacy is a reflection of his belief that he can make a positive difference in the lives of his adopted community.  If you would have a council member who loves the people he serves, and is accessible to them, who will listen with an open mind and open heart, who will be an honest and responsible steward of the resources with which he’s entrusted, you would be well served to elect this fine gentleman.

Managed Hunting Is Necessary In Maintaining A Stable Deer Population - And Response

I enjoy seeing the whitetail deer that we have in so many areas here in East Tennessee, but here in Hamilton County we have been approaching the maximum habitat sustainability in some places including the Enterprise South area.
