An autopsy on the body of murder victim Dana Wilkes says her head and hands were severed after her death.
After a two-month long investigation, homicide investigators made an arrest in mid-January in connection with the 2012 homicide of the 48-year-old woman .
Ms. Wilkes was reported missing on Nov. 10, 2012, under suspicious circumstances. Her dismembered body was recovered on Nov. 25, 2012 along the creek bank at 3700 Youngstown Road.
Investigators made a presentation to the Hamilton County Grand Jury and an indictment for first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse was returned for Tony Bigoms, 53.
The autopsy says it appears the head was removed with some type of tool and the hands were taken off at the mid-forearm.
It does not say how the victim was killed.
