Clara Rinda Malone, 81, died on February 11, 2013 at a local nursing home. 

She retired from the Radisson Read House. She was a faithful member of St. Mary P.B. Church where she served on the usher board. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Robinson, Elizabeth Townsend and Phyllis Malone; son, Anthony Jerome Malone; brother, Robert Lee Malone, Hartsville; grandchildren, LaShaun Pierce, Demetric Wade, Christopher Malone, Terrance Malone, Anthony Malone, Jr.; other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m., at St. Mary P.B. Church. Pastor Raymond Moore and Rev. Clarence Smith will be officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Saturday, Feb. 16, and family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
