Furman Gene Raines, 60, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
Gene touched the hearts of all those around him with his friendship, honesty and love of life.
Survivors include his sons, Eric and Chris; parents, Furman and Reese Raines; mother, Jesse Thompson; and two sisters.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Columbia, S.C.
