Wilcox, Bonnie Inez Merrell (Greasy Creek)

Bonnie Inez Merrell Wilcox, 82, of the Greasy Creek community, TN, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at her residence. 

She was born February 1, 1931 to the late Arthur and Mae (Rymer) Merrell. She was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Russell Wilcox; two infant brothers; and brother-in-law, Wayne Wilcox. 

She is survived by her son, Clifford Ray Wilcox and wife, Jeanne; grandchildren, Christopher S. Wilcox and Stacy R. Wilcox, all of Cleveland; brother, Fred Merrell and wife, Una; sisters, Beatrice Wilcox and Minnie Lowe and husband, J.M, all of Reliance; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 15, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, in Greasy Creek Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 15 at the Higgins Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
